The key mission is to carry out research in the fields Protection of people and property and Security public administration services. The research outcomes efficiently support the modernization and quality of study in particular study fields. Research activities are mainly conducted at the level of scientific research, theory, publication and training.

Our Academy, quietly waiting for us during the past two summer months, has opened its door again as we together are just entering the new academic year 2015/2016. The Academy has slightly changed – it has been renovated, somewhat reconstructed, and facelifted to a certain extent. However, in a sense, it still remains the same – it still remains ours.

Research

Department of Criminology of the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava addresses scientific and research assignments in compliance with the assignments based on the government and sectoral strategy documents, in particular ´Strategy concerning the Crime Prevention and Anti-social Activity in the Slovak Republic for 2016 - 2020.
